Front panels or so-called membrane keyboards are bonded onto most electronic devices and machines. They are specialised constructions consisting of several layers of raw materials that have different functionality. Each layer is joined by specialised adhesive films of appropriately selected thickness. Such constructions most often have a decorative and informative role.

In the case of membrane keyboards, these are more advanced constructions, which have the additional option of printing conductive tracks on the appropriate layer and placing luminescent LEDs. These products have a wide range of applications in various industries such as automotive, medical, transport and electronics. Often front panels with buttons and printed electronic paths are used in operator panels in industry.
