The basic model of printers is the desktop device. These compact devices, despite not being very fast, are perfect for printing small quantities of labels.

• Heads with resolution of 200 or 300 dpi in most models of desktop printers, optional 600 dpi e.g. in Godex RT863i model
• TTR ribbon, length 74mb (Zebra GK) or 300 mb ( Godex series GE 300, G500 or RT 700)
• Label roll up to 127mm in diameter, except for the Cab EOS2 (accommodates a label roll with a maximum diameter of 152mm) and Cab EOS5 (accommodates a label roll with a maximum diameter of 203 mm)
• Possibility to use battery power, e.g. Cab EOS 2 or EOS5
• Label cutter and dispenser option
• External rack for larger label roll (for rolls larger than 127mm)
• Zebra and Godex Linerless line of printers allows the use of raw linerless adhesive material
• Network card and WiFi module option
• Possibility to connect an external label rewinder, e.g. Godex T10
• Label printing from printer memory (Godex RT700i, Cab EOS 2 or EOS5)
