Self-adhesive labels used for tangible asset marking serve to identify property belonging to companies, hospitals, offices, and other institutions. They usually bear the inventory number of the given tangible asset, and a bar code, which greatly speeds up inventory taking.
- characterised by high resistance to mechanical damage, which may occur during everyday operations
- made mainly of polyesters and used with strong adhesives, they can be applied to various surfaces (e.g. oiled, powder coated, or made of plastic)
- product information can be applied to the labels by printing machines (also in colour, using flexographic or digital techniques), as well as individually by the customer using label printers and high-durability ink ribbons
