Cable labelling requires special attention and a precise analysis of the substrate to be labelled. In order to select the right raw material and adhesive for cable labelling, the thickness of the cable, the number of cables in the cable bundle to be labelled, the usage method, and the type and quality of the material must be taken into account. Cable marking labels are most often made of tear-resistant and abrasion-resistant film. They are resistant to moisture, low and high temperatures, and chemicals used for cleaning electric equipment.

Cable labels can be flagged or self-laminated. Product data can be printed in-house in label printers using a special colour ribbon.
