Foams, felts and insulators

Insulators are mainly used in the electronics and automotive industries. Their primary function is to create a thermal and electrical barrier within the device. There is a wide range of materials that, when combined with an appropriately sized adhesive film, form an integral part of the device.

Foams have the unique functions of insulating, filtering, cushioning, soundproofing and, in some cases, bonding components. The foams are most often made of PVC, polyethylene (PE), polyurethane (PU), or synthetic EPDM rubber. They can be available as single- or double-sided adhesive tapes, or as individual uses.

Felts have a protective function. Insulating, spacing, cushioning and protecting. In industry, they are most commonly used as spacers and as pads in household appliances and in production machinery.

All of these products can be packaged in single uses or on a roll. In addition, it is possible to design and cut any shape so that the foams, felts or insulators can perform their function in the best possible way.
